The New Deal
Founded in 1998 by three longtime members of the Toronto music scene, the New Deal fused electronic music with live improvisation at a time when parallel developments were occurring elsewhere on the continent. Through relentless touring, the band quickly built a strong following among jam band fans, rave kids, and fellow musicians.

At the forefront of the thriving electronica jam band scene, the New Deal has become a performing and touring phenomenon. Their new CD Gone Gone Gone celebrates the seismic collision of live drums, bass, keyboards and vocals with the energy and flow of contemporary dance music. The 13 tracks featured explore the nuance of tempo, melody and groove for which the band is so well known, while adding a rich new musical component courtesy of guest vocalists Feist and Martina Sorbara.
