On his second Rykodisc effort, John Trudell writes about the separation of the classes and genders along with themes of love. He also deals with the loss of his wife in the heartbreakingly beautiful "After All These Years," as he did in "Tina Smiled" from his previous record. Not quite as strong as the masterful AKA Grafitti Man, but still an intelligent and moving album.
