As the title suggests, The Pop Side gathers some of the exotica innovator's more straightforward hits -- 25 in all. His arrangements of classic pop songs and show tunes such as "Indian Summer," "Gigi," "Unchained Melody," and "I'll Never Stop Loving You" show just as much skill and imagination as his more eclectic recordings.
