VINYL FORMAT. Rapeman was Steve Albini's band after Big Black, and before Shellac, with the Scratch Acid rhythm section of David William Sims and Rey Washam. The name came from the title character of an apparently socially acceptable comic book in Japan. Picket lines greeted the band at many of their tour stops. The band released the Budd EP in 1988, named for the politician who shot himself on live television. The full-length Two Nuns and a Pack Mule followed a year later.
