Robyn is finally ready to make her big splash in North America, starting with the US release of The Rakamonie EP. This six song 7" is an excellent document to discover a fantastic Australian band that created small, endearing pop miniatures on the second half of the eighties. They are Nic Dalton (ex-Lemonheads) and Robyn St. Claire and here you will not find the original, pristine "Into Your Arms", which made a top ten single by Evan Dando and his Lemonheads. Hypervitamined pop songs, short but full of talent and written with a heart.
