Her big fat tone says it all, as Annie Whitehead leads her band through nine largely danceable originals. Much of it has a Caribbean feel, a light touch that possibly reflects the input of co-composer Ian Maidman, whose guitar, bass, clavinet, and programming appears on most of the tracks.
