CLASSIC. VINYL. Bassist Eldee Young and drummer Isaac 'Red' Holt spent the 1960's as Ramsey Lewis' rhythm section. By the time they recorded this soul-jazz/instrumental groove classic in 1972 (produced by Michael Cuscuna, also known for his work on the Art Ensemble's Bap-Tizum LP), Young & Holt were solid stoned groove monsters -- similar to Curtis Mayfield's early '70s material.
