The Mekons were reinventing themselves before reinventing yourself was cool. Here they are revisiting old hard to find songs and breathing new life into them. Half of the songs were recorded live during the Mekons 25th anniversary tour, the other half are studio recordings done during that same year. It's a mishmash, sure, and it's punk rock without a doubt, but it's not what your thinking and the result is a classic, purely musical statement 25+ years in the making.
