This release celebrates the best of the solo recordings released by Robert and Grant during their seven year hiatus from The Go-Betweens. While the nine original Go-Betweens albums have received lavish acclaim and attracted solid sales, the solo work has mostly been overlooked, despite containing some of the partners' best work For this first posthumous release, Robert and Grant each selected the 13 songs that appear on their individual CD. While Grant's disc is a chronological journey through his catalog, Robert elected to mix up the running order, bookending his disc with the track "Falling Star", the second version being an unreleased out-take from the Danger In The Past sessions, long forgotten and only rediscovered when mastering the album. The albums will be issued individually in standard packaging this fall.
