A Resounding Boo For The Suits (CD)
A Resounding Boo for the Suits is the latest release from Don's Teeth. Like the 7-inch vinyl released prior, you are getting a very personal, intimate sound from singer - songwriter Jeff Nelson. This time around, Tony Robertson (Billy Bacon, The Darlings) and some other very talented musicians helped shape the stripped down acoustic soul with some depth and power, while not changing the toned down feel. Engineered by Rob Arnold and produced by Tony Robertson in Clamhead Studios, this album was recorded with a "live in a room" feel with instruments older than most of the band. The album is comprised of a combination of lyric driven folk, drunken jams, and one 70's sounding rocker (We). The result is live, honest sound - an emotionally powerful record. RIYL: Lullaby for the Working Class, Songs Ohia, Richard Buckner, Iron & Wine.![]()
