Ideal Lives (CD)
Recorded with J. Robbins, Ideal Lives is beautiful and unattractive, sinister and hopeful at once. The record is a true testament to the progression and diligence of a band constantly evolving. There's something to be said about the sound of a Rahim song; it's encoded in every fiber of every song the band puts forth. It's an overwhelming sense of identity and it has been with the band since the very beginning.![]()

| A great ''next'' step for one of my favorite bands. Rahim's debut EP on French Kiss was a spazzy art-pop delight...those elements are still in place on ''Ideal Lives'' but with a much more sunshine pop bent. This is an incredibly catchy record. | |
