Armed with comic book, guitar and brother, Jeffrey Lewis spent the autumn months deadpanning his way around the UK. His new album City and Eastern Songs, was made with his touring partner and brother Jack. The album was recorded with New York producer Kramer (Shimmy Disc - Bongwater, Galaxie 50 etc) while one Peter Stampfel of legendary 60s folk freaks The Holy Modal Rounders contributes wonderful fiddle, banjo and other parts.
